Hello!
My name is Gavin Leahy, and I am so excited to help you on your French language journey!
During my time in undergrad, I had the opportunity to live in Lyon, France for 6 months. During this time as a foreign exchange student, I not only perfected my French language skills, but was fully immersed in Francophone culture and daily life. Upon my return to the US, I completed a degree in European Languages + Transcultural Studies, and focused a lot on classic Francophone literature in my curriculum.
I love to emphasize current trends in the French language/culture when I teach, as I feel it is important to be as up to date as possible when it comes to learning another language.
I lead all of my lessons with kindness and understanding, and am truly passionate about helping my students to reach their greatest potential.
