About Lashelle
Hello! My name is LaSHelle, and I’m a professionally trained American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter with over 4 years of experience in the field. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Interpreting and was raised in the Deaf community as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), which means ASL is more than just a skill for me it’s a part of who I am. As a tutor, I focus on making ASL accessible, engaging, and easy to understand for learners at any level. Whether you’re just starting out, working through ASL homework, or preparing for a degree in interpreting, I tailor each session to fit your needs and learning style. I use real-world examples, visual aids, interactive exercises, and supportive feedback to make sure every lesson is both productive and enjoyable.
