About Elijah
My name is Elijah and I am a Graduate Teaching Instructor for the required writing composition course at Florida State University. I am also a PhD candidate pursuing a degree in English Literary Theory. I know what it takes to write strong essays at the collegiate level and am passionate about sharing this knowledge with others. My goal is to help you develop the skills and strategies you need to tackle any writing assignment with confidence.

My aim is to inspire students to find their voice through writing by giving them the tools and strategies they need to tackle any prompt. Many students find writing daunting, but with the techniques I've learned in my experience both teaching and producing writing for a variety of contexts, I hope to provide students with the confidence and knowledge they need to become a strong writer. I've worked with students of all grade levels and experiences, but specialize in helping students in or preparing to enter college to produce college-level writing. Lessons can include preparation for specific projects such as college admission essays, writing exams, and essay assignments, or the general strengthening of writing mechanics.
