About Benjamin
I am a 2nd year MBChB medical student at the University of Auckland, looking to offer 1st year students the very guidance and assistance to smoothen a PreMed journey that can otherwise be quite daunting and anxious. As an aspiring health professional, I have always taken pride in doing my part to help others and offer what I can, if I can. I think of tutoring as a different way of giving back to that on the medical front, but ultimately the morals and principles run the same. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from Year 9 to 13 on both a professional and casual basis.

Your opportunity for a structured but smooth, and flexible 1st year journey toward the UoA clinical programs, particularly medical school. I am a 2nd year MBChB student having completed 1st year biomedical science med entry in 2025 with a 9.0 GPA across all courses (core and non-core). I have tutored a range of subjects and levels before, from Year 9 to Year 13 and peers at university.
Lessons will be tailored to suit your learning style, using different forms of learning to solidify concrete understanding to be exercised with practice. Lessons will be personalised as required, otherwise will mainly focus on BIOSCI and CHEM110 course content. UCAT and MMI tutoring available.
First lesson will involve my personal advice for premed, a chance for Q&A, and understanding of your goals, desired approach to premed and/or study methods you currently use/wish to use
