About Primary
I have served as a full time classroom instructor, recitation leader and tutor for five years. I teach college calculus, physics and Earth sciences. Our digital world has allowed me to expand beyond the Midwest and help students from across the country.
Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was a child. Through ventures including Boy Scouts, athletics and peer support programs, I found that I loved helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Today, there are thousands of tools out there to help students learn. One of the most enjoyable responsibilities I have as a tutor is getting to know a student so that we can choose which suit them best. Each learner is unique, and I can't wait to see you succeed in a way that is all your own!

Hello!
My name is Mr. Echo. College calculus can be a challenging experience. Humanity took over eight hundred years to make the jump from algebra, but you are ready for it now! In my sessions, I prioritize adaptability. Each learner is unique! We therefore begin with a brief that you lead, sharing your experience and concerns. From there, we work together to find out what kind of support is best. Whether it is tying the lesson to your chemistry class or revealing the logical roots of the idea, we will build the connections you need for success.
While calculus is the backbone of most college level STEM endeavors, physics & engineering are the arms & legs. They are the disciplines that take the mathematical description of our world and carry it on to something practical. Among them, I'd be hard pressed to declare a favorite... probably the one that the person across from me is ready to learn themselves!
I use a modern Zoom studio complete with multiple workstations, cameras and integrated websites. Clarity is the goal, understanding is the result.
