It has become a personal mission of mine to be the best facilitator of fitness knowledge as possible. I've lived the process of making a fitness career work and I understand what a difficult industry it is to have long term success in. It's important to me to change the perception of the fitness industry and help show that fitness is a legitimate career path where both professional and personal success can be achieved.
Together, we can raise the bar when it comes to the quality of fitness professionals that are out there and in doing so help you become a leader in your field. I want to do all I can to support you in becoming a sought after, well respected and in-demand fitness professional.

To me, learning is a peer-to-peer experience where a holistic approach allows me to facilitate a wide range of students. My sessions are relaxed, engaging and fun but always very focussed on achieving specific outcomes; I very much want to see any student I work with succeed to the best of their ability whilst enjoying the process.
I qualified as a personal trainer in the UK in 2008, having completed my bachelors degree at the University of the West of England, and I operated my business from a private fitness studio for several years before moving to New Zealand. Upon coming to New Zealand I became a partner and operator of a fitness facility based in Auckland that experienced rapid expansion and growth. As a result of this growth much of my time was spent teaching, training, managing and mentoring new Personal Trainers as they joined our company and progressed their fitness careers. I'm currently undertaking a masters degree in health, sport & human performance at the University of Waikato and I'm completing my certificate in tertiary teaching through Toi Ohomai.
My sessions are aimed at anyone completing any fitness or Personal Training qualification offered in New Zealand including NZ Certificate of Fitness, NASM, a diploma in Sports & Fitness and Bachelor degrees in Physical Education, Sports Science, kinesiology etc.
