About Shruthi
Hello! My name is Shruthi Sugumar and I am an incoming university student that is going to be studying Biomedical Engineering (BEng) at the University of Kent. I’m very passionate about the sciences and absolutely love working with students!
I am a DBS approved tutor who also teaches Maths and English for kids aged 4-16 with over a years worth of experience.

My tutoring techniques involves engaging the student in the content by using fun methods to remember key words and concepts and also attempting past papers under timed conditions as well as topic based questions related to the subject.
The typical length of a lesson is usually an hour but change the timings depending on what the student prefers.
I have experience in working with kids, specifically aged 4-16 years old. I worked at a tuition centre called Explore Learning and also used to tutor badminton for little kids.
My lessons are for any students that struggle with GCSE biology (ages from 11-16). Additionally, I also can help in GCSE chemistry as I did A-level Chemistry as well.
