About Stella
I’m a first-year university student who enjoys working with children and helping them learn and grow. I’ll be studying Kinesiology at an Ontario university this year, and I’m excited to continue developing my knowledge and skills through my studies and experiences. In my free time, I enjoy creating artwork, reading, and staying active, and I love bringing creativity and curiosity into the way I approach learning.
I was also a member of the Interact Council, part of the Rotary International community, where I volunteered and contributed to local initiatives through fundraising and supporting causes such as access to clean water. Through my volunteering and tutoring experiences, I’ve developed strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach that helps students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to learn.

My math lessons are tailored to each student’s individual learning style, goals, and areas for improvement. As a university student with a strong academic background and tutoring experience, I understand that students can sometimes struggle with certain math concepts or feel discouraged when they don’t understand something right away. I focus on building a strong foundation in math while helping students with problem-solving, homework, test preparation, and challenging concepts. My goal is to create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing both their math skills and confidence.
