About Anna
I am an undergraduate BMus performance student studying cello at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I am currently starting my first year at the Conservatoire under Martin Storey, but prior to my education here, I studied at the Junior Guildhall in London under Alfia Nakipbekova for three years.
I have been playing the cello for 10 years, and have plentiful experience in the performing sector of the industry (including chamber, orchestral, and solo environments).
Tutoring young musicians is a way to spread and emphasise the importance of the musical world. It is an incredibly important aspect of a musician's life, and being able to share my experiences and aid young students in their growth as a musician is a great aspiration of mine.

My main goal while teaching is to create a comfortable atmosphere so that my students feel safe and at ease, ensuring an efficient work environment in order to allow my students to reach their full potential. My lessons will always have a technique-based and creative balance, with an approach to both aspects of musicianship that will allow my students to familiarise themselves with both areas. Naturally, my approach will adapt to each student in regard to their experience and skill.
The typical length of the lessons will be 40 minutes and they are aimed at young students of the ages 9 to 13 years. I have no previous experience as a tutor.
