About Isabella
Hi! My name is Isabella, and I’m currently a university student at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. I’m originally from Shenzhen, China, where I studied for 13 years before moving to Budapest, Hungary, to complete four years of middle school (IGCSE) and high school (IB diploma). This international educational background has given me a deep understanding of both Chinese language and culture, as well as diverse learning styles across different systems. As a native Mandarin speaker with strong academic experience in Chinese literature and writing, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and skills in Mandarin reading, writing, and comprehension. I’m especially good at tailoring my tutoring style to suit individual needs—whether it’s for school support, exam prep, or language enrichment.
