Hello! My name is Joanne and I'm a first year graduate medicine student at the University of Nottingham. I have a first class mathematics degree and PhD in Information Security, and used to work in research before deciding to embark on a new career path in medicine. I am passionate about problem-solving, science communication, and making complex topics understandable, an approach which allowed me to score in the top 2.5% in the Gamsat without a science background and secure four offers from four interviews. I aim to make medicine application prep as enjoyable as it can be and help clients to develop effective problem-solving and learning strategies which will provide a solid foundation for their future medical studies.
