About Lilly
Hi,
My name is Lilly and I am a First Class (Hons) Marine and Freshwater Biology MSci Graduate.
My love for the sciences stems from my love for nature and the outdoors, and from my Biology teacher at GCSEs who helped me see the sciences weren't as complicated as originally made out to be, and could be fun and exciting to learn about, rather than a stress-inducing experience.
I hope to create the same experience for my students, and help them see the sciences are entirely "doable", and hold the key to our understanding of the world around us.

I believe learning Biology and Chemistry can be fun and enjoyable, and not as overwhelming as many people make it out to be.
My love for the sciences is thanks to my Biology teacher while studying for my GCSEs, who made me see the material is not as complicated as it might seem, and I ended up graduating with an MSci degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology (First Class Hons).
I like to structure my lessons similarly to how my own Biology teacher taught me, with short, concentrated audio and visually stimulating summary of the topic at the beginning of the lesson, followed by confirmation and practice of the material. I aim to make the material engaging, fun, stimulating and clear as possible. Most importantly, I believe a relaxed learning atmosphere is key, as I always found stress to hinder learning.
Lessons are for students preparing for their GCSEs or A-Levels or below.
