About Jordan
I am a Law graduate from the University of Sheffield, where I achieved a First-Class degree and won the Margaret Llewelyn Intellectual Property Award in 2024. I also spent a year studying abroad at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, which gave me a broader perspective on legal education and a genuine appreciation of how differently Law can be taught and understood across different contexts.
I currently work as a Paralegal at a specialist IP law firm, where I deal with real legal matters on a daily basis, drafting documents, conducting research and advising on case strategy alongside qualified solicitors. That practical experience keeps my knowledge current and grounded in how the law actually works in practice, not just in theory.
Outside of work and studying I have spent several years mentoring students at both Sheffield and Tilburg, which gave me a real understanding of where students get stuck and how to help them move forward. I am patient, straightforward and genuinely invested in the people I work with.
Outside of law, I love being outdoors, whether that is camping, hiking or playing sport, so I always appreciate a student who can switch off from their studies every now and then too.

I'm a First-Class Law graduate from the University of Sheffield and currently work as a Paralegal at a law firm, so I bring both solid academic foundations and real, hands-on legal experience to every session.
I have spent several years mentoring students at Sheffield and Tilburg University in the Netherlands, supporting people through difficult concepts, exam pressure and building genuine confidence in the subject. I know how daunting Law can feel, and I am good at breaking things down in a way that actually clicks.
Where I think I can add the most value is in two areas that students often struggle with most: essay writing and legal research. Law essays have a very particular structure and style, and getting that right makes a huge difference to your marks. I can help you build arguments clearly, use authority properly and write with the kind of precision that tutors and examiners are looking for. On the research side, I can help you cut through overwhelming reading lists, identify what actually matters in a case or article, and develop an efficient approach that saves you hours of going in circles.
Sessions are relaxed, practical and built around what you need. Typically 60 minutes online, for A-Level students or undergraduates at any stage of their degree. Happy to have an initial chat before committing to anything.
