I have been teaching music privately for over 20 years, working with students of all ages from four to retirement age. I have a busy performance schedule and a passion for exploring new instruments and styles, which keeps my teaching fresh and inspiring. I enjoy helping each student develop their technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence while discovering their own unique voice.

I offer lessons for musicians of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, in jazz, classical, rock, and blues. Drawing on years of professional experience and performances at festivals such as Brecon, Oxford, and Cheltenham, I combine practical guidance with inspiration to help you reach your full potential.
My teaching covers advanced guitar techniques, jazz improvisation, classical technique, sight reading, music theory, ear training, transcription skills, and composition and arranging. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you want to perform confidently, improvise creatively, compose original music, or simply enjoy playing more. I focus on developing both technical mastery and musical expression, helping you progress quickly while fostering a deep understanding and love of music.
