About Thomas
My name is Thomas, and I recently graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Sociology from Newcastle University.
I offer a wide range of tutoring services spanning sociology, anthropology, and philosophy, and strive to provide my students with a robust framework for engaging with sociological and philosophical literature at an advanced level.
I offer courses on Greek Philosophy, Core Sociological Theory, Core Philosophical theory, post-structuralism, Marxist and Marxian theory, Gender studies, and beyond!
I relish the opportunity to provide aspiring thinkers with the tools they need to open new vistas of knowledge.

I provide a flexible, client-led timetable, and can respond to the needs of a more dynamic or inconstant schedule. My lessons usually run for one hour, although this is ultimately determined by the client. I understand that grappling with complex philosophical ideas can be challenging for the uninitiated. For this reason I provide a hands-on, guided approach to engaging with the literature, remaining attentive to practical considerations regarding essay writing and exam preparation, in addition to the more general importance of nurturing a well-rounded understanding of philosophical and sociological theory.
