About Joanna

I am a warm and friendly person who loves to meet and speak with new people. I adored my studies, which is why I am looking to get back into the world of academia and put what I learnt to good use. I have always loved the idea-proposing, writing and editing cycle of academia, but I know many people struggle with it - which is why I want to help! About the lesson

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2021 with a First Class degree in Psychology, with a year in industry. During this year, I worked as a Research Assistant and was published on a paper which investigated patients' healthcare experiences. I went on to complete my Masters in Social Research at the University of Leeds and achieved a First Class degree. I offer a particular focus on social psychology, criminal psychology and gender studies.

Although these subjects are my areas expertise, my greatest strength is my written ability, and I am able to help individuals from all subjects with their academic writing. I can tailor my lessons to your needs, whether it be support with revision or help structuring and editing essays. I have spent several years supporting others with their writing process, and I can offer sessions where you attend with draft written work and we go through and improve the written quality to boost your grades.

The last student that I worked with went from a mark of 36 in their dissertation submission (before my support) to a 74 for their resubmission (after my support). I hope to be able to help more students to do the same!
