Personalisation of tuition is key to my approach. I first spend some time getting to know each student, identifying areas of weakness to prop up, and areas of strength to expand upon and challenge. From here we can proceed to to preparation for specific goals, whether these be exams or university entrance. This takes the form of work tailored to the exam and exam board you are doing. I have succeeded in these exams, and can help you to do so too.
A typical tutorial can take the form of discussion of issues, in the manner of an Oxford tutorial; or can be focused on feedback on a specific essay you have done. I place a particular emphasis on essay technique, as it is often this which prevents otherwise bright students from accessing the top marks.
