About Oriana
I have 7 years of experience working as an art tutor and facilitator designing and delivering both skill based and wellbeing support based workshops informed by art practices. I graduated from a BA in Fine Art with a First Class and I specialise in painting. I have worked across, hyperrealism, abstract, fashion and textiles design and have a vast skill set in producing physical artwork. In my spare time I write poetry and run a poetry blog where I’m able to channel my love for storytelling through words. My first role as an art tutor was during my time at university working with an organisation called, Skipz Productions CIC, who provided creative after school clubs. When I joined Skipz, they didn’t have an art offering as part of their after school club. I came in and helped the founder, design sessions that engaged primary school children with art skills including painting and sculpture. Prior to coming on board they mostly did chalk drawings. Ever since I’ve worked with an array of organisations including schools, charities, pupil referral units and corporates with people ages 4 - 60+ sharing the skill of art and how art can improve one’s life through my project, the medela school. Within my project, I have built partnerships with over 5 community organisations who have worked with me 2 or more times. I have also had the opportunity to work with the NHS, eBayUK, Southbank Centre delivering projects centred on the intersection of art and wellbeing. My most recent project is a National Lottery funded project in partnership with Mind Like Yours CIC, an organisation tackling social isolation. It is a 4 week non-clinical art therapy programme designed to explore self-esteem, community and personal values.
I am passionate about art education, the impact art has on people’s lives and it being seen as a viable career path.

Apart from being an art tutor, I’m also a therapeutic art coach. My sessions provide a holistic approach to learning painting which begins with destressing exercises that help you begin with balance.
You will have a step by step guide on:
- how to choose and mix colours for the perfect nature/landscape scene
- how to blend acrylic paints (which are known to dry really quickly)
- developing a unique painting style whilst learning the traditional techniques
