I am a first class BA English graduate and MA Writing graduate who teaches English and creative writing up to A-Level standard. I have particularly experience tutoring primary-age children in writing.

About Katrina
I am a scriptwriter and theatre maker based in London. Following achieving 11 A*s at GCSE and 2 A*s and 1 A at A-Level, I studied English Literature at the University of Exeter and achieved a First Class Degree. I then spent a year teaching English in primary schools in the South of France. I have recently completed an MA in Writing at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
I am workshop facilitator, teaching writing and theatre within numerous organisations. I also work as a script reader, analysing scripts and books for TV production companies and literary scouting agents. I also co-run a theatre company with my plays being performed across the Midlands with an upcoming London run this Spring.
Having taught both children and adults, I am confident adapting my teaching style for a wide range of ages and abilities. I'll bring my creative skills to our sessions, finding ways to make learning fun and engaging.

I aim to create lessons tailored to each students' individual learning needs and will continually adapt as necessary. In my former work teaching English in France, I grew accustomed to designing varied lesson plans to suit mixed levels of ability while keeping lessons engaging. I am a creative individual and will always look for ways to make learning fun and easy through interactive learning methods. I am comfortable teaching students aged seven and above, through to A-Level standard.
