About Salvatore

I'm a First-Class MEng graduate in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, currently working as an Electrical Engineer in London. Maths has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I was awarded the Paul Webb Prize for achieving the highest written examination marks in Engineering Mathematics 1, 2 and 3. I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand and creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I aim to help every student build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I enjoy helping students understand Maths and gain confidence in their abilities. My approach is friendly and practical: I explain concepts step by step, work through examples together, and then let students try similar questions on their own. For example, if a student struggles with algebra, I break the problem down into smaller steps and show them how to approach it before practising together.

Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's needs. I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths.

I graduated with a First-Class MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, where I achieved the highest marks in Engineering Mathematics 1, 2 and 3, earning the Paul Webb Prize. I've always enjoyed helping classmates understand difficult topics, and I'd love to bring that same enthusiasm to tutoring.
