About India
I’m a First Class Honours Actor Musicianship graduate from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA), one of the UK’s leading conservatoires. I have an enormous passion for Musical Theatre, Drama and Music, and I absolutely love sharing everything I’ve learnt through my professional training and experience with my students! Music has been a huge part of my life from a young age. I began playing the violin at seven and gradually added many more instruments to my collection! I hold Grade 8 qualifications in Singing, Musical Theatre, Piano, Flute and Piccolo, Grade 6 Violin and Grade 5 Music Theory. My Actor Musicianship degree allowed me to develop these skills even further alongside my professional performance training, combining my love of music with acting, singing and dance! Since graduating, I made my professional debut in Innocence at the Royal Opera House, directed by internationally acclaimed director Simon Stone. The production went on to win the Olivier Award for Best New Opera, and performing at the Royal Opera House was an incredible experience that I’m so excited to bring into my teaching! During my second year of training at GSA, I was also selected as a soloist for renowned composer and lyricist Scott Alan as part of his London residency. Being chosen to perform his work professionally while I was still training was an incredibly exciting opportunity! As an Actor Musician, I took a slightly different route into Musical Theatre, Film and TV, training across four disciplines rather than the traditional three: acting, singing, dance and music. This multidisciplinary training has given me a particularly broad understanding of performance and allows me to bring together musical technique, storytelling, character and confidence within my teaching! Throughout my training and performing career, I’ve also had the opportunity to sing at some of the world’s most incredible venues, including Cadogan Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, The O2 Arena and Crazy Coqs in London’s West End! My professional experience, musical qualifications and multidisciplinary training have hugely shaped the way I teach! Whether we’re working on singing, piano, flute, piccolo, violin, Music Theory, Musical Theatre or performance technique, I want lessons to feel exciting, encouraging, fun and creative! Above all, I’m incredibly passionate about everything I teach, and my aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident, inspired and excited to make music and perform!

My music lessons are completely tailored to you! Whether you’re a complete beginner picking up an instrument for the first time, working towards a graded exam, developing your vocal technique or simply wanting to enjoy making music, I’ll create lessons around your individual goals, interests and learning style! I offer tuition in Singing, Piano, Flute, Piccolo, Violin and Music Theory, drawing on both my extensive musical training and my professional experience as an Actor Musician. I hold Grade 8 qualifications in Singing, Piano, Flute and Piccolo, alongside Grade 6 Violin and Grade 5 Music Theory, and graduated with First Class Honours in Actor Musicianship from the Guildford School of Acting! For instrumental lessons, we can work on everything from technique, notation and sight-reading to musicality, repertoire and performance skills. Music Theory lessons can support graded examinations or simply help you develop a stronger understanding of how music works. Singing lessons can cover vocal technique, breathing, confidence, interpretation and storytelling, repertoire and Musical Theatre performance. Having trained across acting, singing, dance and music, I love bringing creativity and performance into my teaching! Music is so much more than playing the correct notes, and I encourage my students to develop their own musicality, confidence and individual style! Most importantly, I want my lessons to be a positive, encouraging and exciting space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and challenging themselves! Whether your goal is to achieve an amazing exam result, prepare for an audition or performance, learn your favourite song, or simply discover a new love for music, I’ll be there to support and encourage you every step of the way! My aim is for you to leave every lesson feeling proud of what you’ve achieved, excited about your progress and inspired to keep making music!
