About Lakshana
Hi there! I’mLakshana and I’m passionate about helping students excel in biology.
- I hope a First Class degree in Bioscience from Durham University, with modules in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology and statistics.
- I am a fully trained tutor through the Durham University Volunteering Scheme who has a proven track record of helping students achieve top grades in GCSE maths, biology,physics and English and A-level biology
-Despite having successful master application to further my studies at Imperial and UCL, I am taking up a fully funded PhD studentship with Proctor and Gamble at Newcastle university and so can bring real-world applications and insights to my teaching.

During my lessons we will cover sections of the content the student is struggling and work through practice exam questions to consolidate their understanding through application. I will tailor my methods to suit the students learning style and pace. I will also provide extra material for the student to consolidate lesson material in their own time and come back to me with any other questions. I will also send regular progress reports to both students and parents to update them on what has been going well and areas we will continue to focus on
