About Lana
I'm a finished sixth form student that went to Roundwood Park School in Harpenden, Hertfordshire; I've taken English literature, geography and psychology as my a level subjects, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. In the future, I'm going to take Law at university in September 2021, a course I'm highly passionate about, which works well with the facilitating subjects I've taken for a levels.

I have a variety of teaching methodologies in order to make my teaching more bearable and flexible. I would sometimes show the learner a powerpoint with concise and coherent notes about the topic I'm teaching them, talking them through each slide I show them, and at the end of each powerpoint slide, there would be a question or two that tests their knowledge on what they're learning so far - by doing this, you're broadening their minds and making them think outside the box. I also provide learners with fun quizzes as well as approaching exam style questions in order to feel prepared for any exam they will have in the foreseeable question; a lot of exam questions from past papers are very similar, so by practicing exam questions, you're more likely to feel confident about the topic, besides just making notes.
