About T'anay
Many students are battling with maths and science. I have always loved these subjects and most people don't because they don't understand them. My goal is to make students fall in love with what they do, that way, they take pride in what they do and perform better.
I have been a tutor for 3 years. I mainly tutor grade 10 - 12 Mathematics and Physical Sciences and have more experience with these two subjects. Age plays a big role in how relationships are built and because I am still young, my students tend to connect easily with me. They never feel intimidated by me and they are never afraid to engage with me during our lesson. This is crucial because the more involved they are with the work and the teacher, the better the results.

During the lessons I tend to focus on helping the student understand instead of expecting them to cram or memorise work. I could never completely remember the work without fully understanding the concept of it. Therefore, I always try to make sure the student understands thoroughly. I believe that if the student wants to achieve great results, practice is key! Hence, I make sure that there are a lot of practice questions for the students. I also give homework sums for the student to practice on days when they don't get tuitions. This is my strategy and it is very effective.
