About Zakiya
Hi! My name is Kiyah, and I am passionate about poetry, writing, and helping others find their voice through words. As both a student and a writer, I understand the challenges that come with expressing emotions, developing creative ideas, and building confidence in your writing.
In addition to my experience with poetry and creative writing, I have participated in debate for two years. Debate has strengthened my communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills, allowing me to help students not only write creatively but also think deeply about language, structure, and the impact of their words.
As a tutor, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and exploring their creativity. Every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to help you discover and develop yours through poetry.
