About Annabelle
I am a university student studying Law at UCL - graduating in September 2024 with 2 years of formal tutoring experience and 4+ years of informal experience.
I studied English at both GCSE level and A-levels. I received an A* for English literature at A-levels and 2 8s (A* equivalents) for English language and English literature at GCSE level. I also offer tutoring for the 11+, specifically for English and Verbal reasoning (however I am happy to discuss the possibility of non-verbal reasoning as well).
I am aware that at GCSEs and A-levels especially subjects such as English can be hard to individually improve on as it has no real right or wrong answer. My goal is to highlight all of the tips, tricks and skills that will ensure that, despite this, you still see a big improvement in your writing style and your grades.

My teaching method is entirely tailored to the needs of the student - whatever level they are at. I will start with general tutoring with interim attainment tests to check progress and then begin to teach lessons based on areas that the student struggles with.
