About Rafia
I am a final-year medical student at the University of Bristol who has successfully completed my final examinations. I scored in the top 7% of UCAT candidates and received all four interview invitations and subsequent offers from all four medical schools I applied to. I now help aspiring medical students prepare for the UCAT and medical school interviews through personalised one-to-one tuition.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student's strengths, weaknesses and learning style. After identifying areas for improvement through an initial assessment, I develop a structured plan with clear goals and regular progress reviews. My teaching focuses not only on content knowledge but also on exam strategy, critical thinking and confidence, ensuring students understand concepts rather than simply memorising them.
For UCAT preparation, I teach proven techniques for each subsection, time management strategies and common pitfalls, using realistic practice questions and detailed feedback. For medical school interviews, I provide coaching for both MMI and traditional panel interviews, with mock stations, personalised feedback and guidance on communication, ethical reasoning and professionalism. Medicine tuition is centred on developing a strong conceptual understanding alongside effective revision and examination techniques.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are delivered online, although longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate. I am a final-year medical student who has completed my final examinations. I received offers from all four Russell Group medical schools I applied to. Having recently navigated the admissions process myself, I combine current insight with a structured, supportive teaching style.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-level students aspiring to study medicine, UCAT candidates, graduate-entry applicants, and medical students seeking additional academic support.
