About Olivia
Hi, my name is Olivia and I am a final year business degree undergraduate with a background in advanced English skills, as this is a requirement of my university degree, (achieved very highly at GCSE English language and Literature prior to this).
Private tutoring runs in the family, and I find it greatly rewarding to be able to help and progress others. I believe in creating a warm and friendly learning atmosphere, and bring humour and variety where appropriate to keep lessons engaging and motivating. When I was a teenager, I also benefited from having a private tutor, and recognise how important these attributes are!
I am honest, reliable and care about ensuring each individual reaches their full potential.

Patience, kindness and a positive attitude are at the forefront of what it takes to be a good personal tutor. With a family history of private tutors I have great understanding of the requirements needed for the job.
I am a final year business degree undergraduate, a requirement of which is to have advanced written and spoken English skills. With family members as private tutors for English up to GCSE level, I have on occasion covered one-to-one lessons for my mothers students, and am currently building my own client base.
I generally adopt a task-based approach to teaching, however depending on the outcome of the initial needs assessment, will be flexible as required. I always seek to make clear the lesson objective to students, and to allow time for feedback and review at the end of each lesson.
Typical lesson times will range between 30 minutes to an hour as requested
