About Chaima
I was once superbly great in the field of chemistry, it started with mixing elements, then somehow ended up with concepts, colors, and ideas and I find myself in my desk writing stories after another and filming. Let's just say I break bad with this type of creativity. So, welcome to my lab; Storytelling 101: Let's get mixing!

Nothing is ever 100% original! Everything came from something(s); either as inspirations, mix of ideas, adding concepts together, etc.. Creativity is the result of that mad chemist, one who mixes the things that we thought wouldn't normally fit together, until he's got was we call 'original', and characterize as 'creative'. Here's my ideal way of teaching storytelling and screenwriting:
- Myth: How things came to be, what they can shape, and how this has affected our ways of storytelling.
- Jungian Study: A full understanding of character anatomy and archetypes! We will go through how a character, and their simple traits, can dictate a scene's, or the whole story's, outcome.
- Save The Cat! : We will look into this major screenwriting book, discuss key concepts, and understand what beats are why you MUST use them!
- Film Genre: What do each genre need? Do they all carry the same structure? Concept? How do we approach each?
- Technical Writing: How to format a screenplay. Software you should be using, and what NOT to do! We will discuss cuts, shots, dialogue (how to make EXCELLENT dialogue), and many other technical tools in our screenwriting journey!
- Submissions: How to pitch an idea? Where should you submit your screenplays? What's the difference between a screenwriting agents vs manager? What's the "Black List"? And more..
