About Derek
I have worked commercially in the Fashion industry, for over 20 years in Europe and Asia and have graduated over 2000 students.
I have also worked as a lecturer in this subject area. I have developed Degree programmes for Universities in the UK and Asia,this has been achieved by enhancing students theoretical knowledge and applying it to Industry and finally showcasing students work at International venues.

I have been teaching and developing programs in Fashion / Textiles and Fashion Marketing modules for the last 20 years. I have a keen interest in curriculum, and have developed a program of studies and research methodologies that enhance the student’s theoretical knowledge through research alongside their practical work.
My teaching methods vary from research to practical applications of
knowledge for a Fashion Marketplace.
