About Herman
I'm a Central Saint Martins–trained fashion designer, and I currently tutor on CSM's Advanced Fashion Programme, working with final-year and graduate designers from concept through to the runway. My own background spans the LVMH Nona Source project (collaborating with Louis Vuitton, Dior and Loewe), a menswear collaboration with Alexander McQueen, and a design role at Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY.

I tutor one-to-one and in small groups — online, wherever you're based, or in person in London — mostly for Foundation and BA fashion design applications (CSM, LCF, Parsons, FIT and beyond). I teach craft-first: rather than imposing a house style, I help you draw out your own creative voice and build a portfolio that reads as unmistakably yours. Sessions usually run around 60 minutes, shaped around what you actually need.
I welcome anyone who's genuinely passionate and wants to grow — you don't need to arrive "good enough." If you're curious, open to experimenting, and ready to push your own ideas further, I'd love to help you find and sharpen your artistic voice.
The first session is a free 30-minute intro — a chance to talk through your goals and get a feel for whether we click, no commitment either way.
