About Charlotte
I am a graduated Fashion Designer and Fashion Technologist. I have superior technical skills that I am aiming to bring to the utmost perfection while I have been an apprentice tailor on Savile Row. I’ve been giving lessons to students, friends and family for 10+ years now and I think it is time to teach my knowledge even more. I have been working for 2 years in a LFW designer studio, where I had to teach and lead a group of interns before the shows and shootings. I am patient and will always make sure the work you are doing is delivered the best way.

I usually ask my students to establish a moodboard first. After that, we are debriefing on what are the student's expectations. If the student doesn't have a precise idea of what the sketching style is, I am showing them a few examples and we exercise after. After the sketch, we can start the patterning part.
I am furnishing a pattern base and we will modify it following the morphology of my student and following his/her measurements, taken earlier. After the patterning part comes the pinning and cutting part. There is a few notions the student needs to know that I would teach. After cutting, we're gonna establish a manufacturing order, including steps and check points. I am usually always there during the sewing process but following the student's wishes, I can manage to plan for him/her to continue himself and show me the next class. With me, the student is gonna have the opportunity to learn the garment construction knowledge the best way, and following the highest technical standards.

Perfect! Charlotte is the best, I really enjoyed my lesson with her! Charlotte is a great teacher! I had no notions at all but she managed to teach me in a intelligible, easy and spontaneous way.
Her technical level is unbeatable and she also have very relevant design notions. She started in Savile Row and now she can also teach me very high tailoring notions: basting, patterning, the chalk and horse hair use. She also helped me to build my portfolio, showing me how to develop a concept from scratch. She truly have the knowledge from the sketch until the finished product. She did also help me loads with technical drawings on illustrator when I had to build a tech pack for production.
I really recommend her, she is the most multitasker person I have ever met ! Thanks Charlotte for your precious help and devotion !xx
