About Mae
For more than 12 years, I have been helping students develop their singing skills and musical confidence. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, adapting my lessons to suit different ages, abilities, and learning objectives.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and personalised guidance. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I create lesson plans that focus on individual strengths and improvement areas. My goal is to help students enjoy learning while achieving measurable progress.
In my classes, students learn vocal techniques, breathing control, pitch accuracy, voice flexibility, rhythm, expression, and stage performance skills. I use interactive exercises, personalised practice routines, and performance activities to make lessons engaging and effective. Regular assessments and feedback help students stay motivated and focused on their goals.
I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and related music subjects. These complementary skills help students gain a deeper understanding of music and improve their overall performance abilities. My lessons combine technical knowledge with practical application, ensuring balanced musical development.
One of my strengths is creating a comfortable and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and grow. Whether you are learning for academic purposes, professional development, performances, or personal enjoyment, I provide the guidance and support needed to succeed. My aim is to help students become confident singers while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology for Singing is based on motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management. I believe every student can develop a strong and confident voice with the right guidance and consistent practice.
I create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and voice control, and I explain each concept in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
I encourage open communication so students can ask questions and improve with confidence. I use creative methods like vocal exercises, song-based learning, and expression training to make lessons engaging and enjoyable. Each class is well-structured with time for warm-ups, focused practice, and feedback to ensure steady progress.
I regularly track improvement and provide personalised guidance based on each student’s needs. Apart from Singing, I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and performance skills to support overall musical growth.
