About Jessica
I am a teacher and director at a language institute in the United States after studying and teaching abroad. I regularly teach English language classes, including TOEFL prep classes to students from all over the world, including as a docent in a few museums. I have a background in the business medical fields, both in management and back of the house that transfers excellent into my knowledge of foreign admissions and test prep for study.

I graduated under the British Council in the UK because of their excellent level of immersive training in ESL pedagogy, curriculum writing, and teaching practices. I obtained my Cambridge CELTA and follow its methodology, practicing the importance of practical experience. The methodology supports the idea of minimizing teacher talking time and places emphasis on practice just as much as theory.

Jessica helped me with my preparation for the TOEFL test. I only took a couple of classes for the Speaking section, but she really helped me with my confidence and pronunciation so much that all my scores went up.
