About Marcos
Holding a BA in Music Production from the BIMM Institute helped me codify how I write songs. Music is communication.
I have spent 10 years producing and teaching songwriting to hobbyists, adult learners, and intermediate producers. My philosophy is that finishing is perfecting, so I push you to move quickly from a spark to a finished record.
I remember my own early attempts at lyricism and how hard it was to find the right imagery without sounding cliché. Writing is a craft that requires constant attention to detail and a willingness to cut what does not serve the song.
I bring 10 years of experience to every session to help you refine your process. My goal is to ensure you feel confident navigating chord progressions and melodic phrasing.
