About Theo
As an enthusiastic and professional piano tutor, I help students of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical goals. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, which provide expertise in both theory and performance. I have experience teaching beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams or recitals. My lessons are tailored to each student, combining structure with creativity. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony understandable and relatable. Motivation is key, and I encourage students to set goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving is a central part of my teaching, helping students develop critical thinking and independent learning skills. I emphasise integrity, creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment. I am flexible, adapting lessons to the student’s pace, style, and objectives. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition for a comprehensive music education. I prepare students for exams, competitions, and performances while nurturing creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are offered online or in-person for learners of all ages. I focus on developing technical skill, musical expression, and a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding. My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.
