About Levi
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 12 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals and help them develop piano skills through personalized, practical, and supportive lessons.
I believe a successful learning journey begins with clear goals. I discuss the student's current level, musical interests, expectations, and practice availability before creating a learning plan. This allows me to provide lessons that are both useful and enjoyable.
My teaching areas include piano fundamentals, finger technique, scales, chords, rhythm, music theory, notation, sight-reading, ear training, song learning, improvisation, and performance skills. I use demonstrations and practical exercises to make each topic easier to understand.
My teaching philosophy is based on communication, patience, adaptability, and motivation. I believe students should be encouraged to learn without fear of mistakes. I provide positive feedback and guide them through challenges step by step.
I also focus on developing independent learning skills. I teach students how to practice correctly, identify problem areas, set goals, and monitor their progress. These habits can help them continue improving even outside regular lessons.
One notable achievement in my teaching journey is gaining nine years of experience with learners from different educational and professional backgrounds. This has helped me understand how to adapt lessons for different ages, abilities, and schedules.
I believe piano can develop more than musical ability. It can also improve concentration, patience, creativity, discipline, and confidence. I encourage students to develop these qualities as part of their musical journey.

My piano teaching methodology is based on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe every student needs a learning plan that matches their personal goals, ability, and interests.
I begin by discussing what the student wants to achieve and assessing their current piano skills. I then create lessons that gradually develop technique, musical understanding, and confidence. Depending on the student's level, lessons may include posture, finger exercises, notes, rhythm, scales, chords, sight-reading, ear training, and song performance.
I adapt my teaching methods to the student's learning style. I use visual demonstrations, listening activities, written exercises, repetition, and practical playing. I explain concepts clearly and use simple examples to make learning easier.
Flexibility allows me to change the pace or difficulty of lessons according to progress. I provide additional practice when necessary and introduce new challenges when students are ready.
Collaboration is an important part of reaching goals. I encourage students to communicate their interests, choose suitable songs, review their progress, and set realistic practice targets.
My positive approach helps students stay motivated even when a skill takes time to master. I encourage students to learn from mistakes and recognize their improvement.
In addition to piano, I can teach music theory, keyboard skills, chords, rhythm, sight-reading, ear training, basic composition, and music appreciation. My goal is to give every student a clear and enjoyable path toward becoming a confident pianist.
