About Blake
I am a Physics tutor with 6 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. I have taught approximately 200 students from GCSE through to early undergraduate Physics. My lessons cover mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, thermodynamics, quantum physics, and nuclear physics with equal depth and clarity. I make Physics logically clear and mathematically manageable through systematic problem-solving and strong physical intuition. My approach is patient, thorough, and adapted to each student's level and examination requirements. I have helped students achieve strong grades at A-Level and university level through targeted and consistent coaching. My Physics lessons are structured to develop both deep physical understanding and strong mathematical problem-solving skills in every session. Every lesson opens with a review of previous concepts and problems to identify and address remaining confusion before new material is introduced. Mechanics is taught comprehensively from kinematics through energy, momentum, circular motion, and gravitation with rigorous mathematical treatment alongside clear physical explanation. Electromagnetism covers electric and magnetic field theory, circuit analysis, electromagnetic induction, and wave behavior using worked examples and physical analogies. Thermodynamics topics develop gas laws, heat transfer, internal energy, and thermodynamic cycles through real physical applications. Quantum physics is introduced systematically with clear experimental motivation before mathematical formalism. Nuclear physics covers radioactive decay, nuclear reactions, fission, and fusion with both conceptual understanding and quantitative calculation. Past paper questions are integrated throughout every lesson. I coach students specifically on unit analysis, multi-step calculation structure, and the layout required for full examination marks. Clear notes and a targeted problem set are provided after every session. My goal is for every student to approach Physics examinations with genuine conceptual confidence and reliable mathematical method.
