About Yara
I am an experienced and passionate Flute tutor with over 16 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academic purposes, personal interest, or professional development.
My teaching approach is calm, structured, and student-focused. I believe strong fundamentals are the key to good flute playing. I guide students in proper breathing, posture, tone development, finger coordination, and rhythm accuracy. I make sure students feel confident at every stage of learning.
Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm practice, scale exercises, and ear training. These subjects help students understand music better and improve their performance skills. I also support students with exam preparation, auditions, and performance practice.
One of my unique strengths is my ability to maintain a positive learning environment. I motivate students to practise regularly and provide clear guidance on how to improve. My goal is to help students grow musically while enjoying the journey of learning flute.

I use a clear and flexible teaching methodology for flute that focuses on communication, creativity, and steady progress. My goal is to help students learn flute confidently and enjoy music.
Communication is key to my lessons. I explain each concept clearly and ensure students understand before moving forward. I encourage open discussion and provide regular feedback.
Creativity helps students stay motivated. I use creative warm-ups, musical exercises, and interesting pieces. I focus on helping students develop expression, tone quality, and musical confidence.
Flexibility allows lessons to be adapted to each student’s needs. I adjust lesson pace, content, and methods based on progress and goals.
Flute training includes breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. I focus on building strong foundations.
In addition to flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills. These subjects help students become complete musicians.
My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students can grow musically.
