About Evelyn
Hello! My name is Evelyn, and I am a dedicated student leader and community advocate with a passion for education, healthcare, and service. In addition to my academic strengths, I actively serve in leadership roles, including as a Shadow Officer in Junior Achievement, where I explore business, leadership, and community engagement. I am also the founder of the Health Education For Life Project, which focuses on promoting health awareness and conducting research. Additionally, I balance academics and extracurriculars as a volleyball player at both school and club levels, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. For students preparing for the SAT, I emphasize proven strategies to consistently achieve 700+ scores in the Math section. A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previous topics to reinforce understanding. I then introduce or clarify the day's concept in simple, student-friendly terms. We proceed with guided practice problems, working through examples together, before transitioning to independent practice where students apply what they've learned.
