About Lyra
I am a Mathematics tutor with over three years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Mathematics. My expertise lies in making advanced mathematical concepts understandable and applicable to real-world scenarios. I have successfully guided students through numerical methods and approximation techniques, helping them see the power of mathematics in problem-solving. My lessons focus on solving equations, integration, and differential equations using computational algorithms. I introduce students to practical approaches that combine theory with technology, ensuring they can solve complex problems efficiently. Through structured lessons and hands-on exercises, I make abstract concepts feel clear and manageable. I have worked with engineering students, computer science majors, and learners in quantitative finance. Each group benefits from a tailored approach that links mathematical methods to their field of study. My teaching style blends rigorous problem-solving with creative thinking to encourage a deeper understanding of the subject. I use real data, simulations, and coding techniques to bring mathematics to life. This approach helps students not only excel in exams but also gain valuable skills for research and professional applications. My ultimate goal is to equip learners with practical tools for tackling real-world mathematical challenges confidently and effectively.

My teaching approach in Mathematics blends strong academic understanding with real-world financial applications. I believe math is not just about solving equations—it is a tool for making better life decisions. I cover core topics along with financial mathematics, interest calculations, investment analysis, and budgeting applications. Lessons focus on building problem-solving skills while showing how mathematical models apply to daily money management. We explore how percentages, ratios, and formulas can help evaluate investments, calculate loans, and plan savings. I encourage students to think critically and apply concepts to real-life financial scenarios. I work with learners from school and university levels, guiding them to connect abstract math with practical outcomes. For coders and Olympiad aspirants, I design challenging yet rewarding problems that sharpen analytical skills while integrating financial reasoning. My methods are interactive, using relatable examples that make numbers meaningful. I provide clear explanations, step-by-step solutions, and strategies to ensure understanding at every stage. The goal is not only to pass exams but to develop lifelong skills for financial independence. I support students in excelling academically and in becoming confident in handling personal and professional financial decisions. In my classes, mathematics becomes more than a subject—it becomes a life skill.
