About Lydia
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History and am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mythology, with advanced training in literary analysis, cultural studies, and academic research. My background provides strong expertise in English, history, analytical writing, and argument development. I help students craft clear thesis statements, structure persuasive essays, and strengthen research and contextual thinking skills.
I have extensive experience working one-on-one with students from elementary school through adult learners. In individualized sessions, I tailor lessons to each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. My work includes building foundational reading and writing skills, supporting middle and high school coursework, and guiding students through research papers and college-level writing.
My teaching approach is discussion-based and student-centered. Rather than simply giving answers, I help students ask better questions, think critically, and develop confidence in their ability to analyze complex material and express their ideas clearly.
