About Lena
I am an Economics tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have successfully guided around 150–200 students, helping them achieve strong academic results and build confidence in the subject. I teach core areas including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Development Economics, and International Economics, while also connecting concepts to related fields like Statistics and Financial Economics. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, patience, and creativity, ensuring that students not only learn concepts but also understand their real-world applications. I use interactive methods, practical examples, and personalised guidance to make learning engaging and effective. I am passionate about motivating students, supporting them in exam preparation and assignments, and helping them develop analytical and problem-solving skills. I emphasise motivation, patience, and compassion, creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore ideas. Creativity plays a key role in my sessions, as I use case studies, visual models, and simulations to make learning engaging and memorable. I also guide students in exam preparation and assignments, helping them develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. My goal is to help learners not only excel academically but also develop a genuine interest and understanding of economics in everyday life.
