About Maya
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students build strong technical skills and confidence. I hold a BSc in Computer Science with Psychology, which has given me both logical problem-solving ability and an understanding of how students learn best. My passion lies in teaching programming in a clear and practical way. I believe coding should feel structured, not overwhelming.
I focus on core areas such as algorithms, data structures, and software development principles. I also cover topics like problem-solving techniques, debugging, and code optimization. These concepts are essential for building efficient programs. They can seem complex at first, but I make them simple and approachable.
I have worked with students who are passionate about technology, as well as those aiming to become developers, engineers, or software professionals. I guide them in writing clean, efficient code and understanding how systems work. My approach encourages logical thinking. It also builds confidence step by step.
