About Laura
Hello! I’m Laura! Welcome! I am a medical professional living on Vancouver Island. I am currently employed as a pathology scientist where I perform gross dissection and the occasional autopsy. I have been a curious learner my entire life and love to share knowledge with others, which is what has always drawn me to tutoring. I have a Master's Degree in Pathology from the University of Manitoba and a BSc in biology and biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg. While at the UW, I was hired as a teaching assistant for over 5 different lab courses. I have tutored many subjects before, but biology is by far my favorite. Aside from science, I am also a certified Life Coach through Rhodes Wellness College. I have a great understanding of humans and how they learn! I look forward to meeting you!
