About Shreeya
Hi! I'm Shreeya, and I'm passionate about helping students become confident, effective writers. As a nationally ranked public speaker—currently 19th in the nation in Expository Speaking—and a 2x National Qualifier through NSDA, I've spent years researching, writing, and delivering persuasive and informative speeches. My experience has strengthened my ability to organize ideas, develop compelling arguments, and tell meaningful stories, skills that directly translate to strong academic and college-level writing.
Whether you're writing a school essay, research paper, scholarship application, or college personal statement, my goal is to help you communicate your ideas clearly while maintaining your authentic voice. I provide thoughtful, constructive feedback in a supportive environment, ensuring that students not only improve a single assignment but also develop the writing and critical thinking skills they can use long after our sessions.

My approach to tutoring is collaborative, personalized, and focused on helping students become stronger writers rather than simply producing a better paper. I work with students through every stage of the writing process—from brainstorming ideas and creating an outline to revising, editing, and polishing the final draft. A typical lesson includes discussing the assignment or prompt, identifying areas for improvement, working through revisions together, and explaining the reasoning behind each change so students build lasting writing skills. Whether we're working on a school essay, research paper, literary analysis, scholarship essay, or college personal statement, I tailor each session to the student's goals and learning style.
What sets me apart is my emphasis on preserving each student's authentic voice while helping them communicate their ideas more effectively. As a nationally ranked public speaker, I have extensive experience in persuasive writing, storytelling, and research, allowing me to help students develop compelling arguments and engaging narratives. My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and early college students of all experience levels, whether they need help getting started, improving organization and grammar, or refining a final draft into their best work.
