About Rachel Michelle
I recently graduated from the SDSU Rhetoric and Writing studies Master's program. During my time in the program, I also designed my own curriculum for first year writing classes for three semesters. I have also successfully tutored first year college and high school students in English literature, history, essay writing, and SAT prep.
Lastly, my passion for art, media, and popular culture drives me to find unique ways of connecting with my students and fostering a strong sense of collaboration and engagement.

I specialize in helping students strengthen their ability to confidently complete course work and build a sense of mastery through the process of drafting, revising, and editing. I also specialize in teaching analytical skills for all subjects in the humanities including literature, history, sociology, science reading and writing, philosophy, sociology, and media studies.
Adept at meeting students where they are in their learning journey. Most experienced with upper level high school and lower division college students but comfortable with middle school aged and adult students as well, including seniors.
