About Darrell
I have taught World History for 16 years, so I am very knowledgeable in the content. I have a better than 60% passing rate on the AP World History exam, which is better than the 50% passing rate overall average for the exam.
I have a degree in History, plus I've traveled to places around the world that I teach about, so I have a view from those experiences that make teaching the content more exciting.

I use a variety of teaching techniques, from direct instruction to activities to collaboration in order to help students succeed.
Lessons are targeted towards students in the subject of World History/World History AP.
I'm a positive teacher who tries to understand the needs of the student and develops lessons based off those needs.
Most lessons involve some direct instruction with activities to apply the skills and content learned to make sure student has mastered that level.
