About Benjamin
My name is Ben, I love psychology and the opportunity to teach it to others because it reinforces my knowledge and understanding of it. I graduated last year with a 1st Class Honours Award in Psychology with [Business] Management and three additional commendations. Since, I have been working as an Applied Psychological Scientist. I intend on pursuing advanced training in MSc Psychological Research at the University of Edinburgh this September. Overall, I hope its pretty clear that I live and breathe psychological research. So, you will be in good hands should you choose me to help you build upon your strengths and overcome your weaknesses.

I will tailor lessons to help you overcome any area of academic struggle and achieve the result you want at the end of your undergraduate degree. My personal path to academic success was not linear. Rather, I struggled in my initial years, however, through trial-and-error, reflection, and effort, I managed to improve to the point where I was awarded the British Psychological Society's Undergraduate Award, an award for the best dissertation in my cohort (grade of 90%), and another award for 6 A-grades in my honours year.
Ultimately, my tutoring approach will involve giving you tips, tools, and strategies to learn content and confidently apply it in your assessments so that your assessors can see and reward your academic rigour.
Our initial session will focus on identifying the specific areas for improvement, setting goals, and a study plan. Subsequent sessions will follow the study plan but will dynamically shift focus upon new areas of challenge as they emerge or as your priorities change.
