About Aliya

My name is Aliya Gardella and I would love to help you on your musical, theatre, or educational journey. I have taught private voice and piano lessons for over 10 years, I have taught grades K-5 in private, charter, and public schools. I am currently the Youth Director for Summerfield Stage Company, a 4th grade teacher, and have a thriving music lessons studio.

I have a passion and love for what I do and I am excited to help you through your journey!

About the lesson

For new students, our first lessons will focus on getting to know each other. We will discuss what you do know so far about your prospective instrument, what you would like to learn, what types of music you love, what you want to accomplish, and where you would like to see yourself in a year. After we discuss this with each other (and your parents if you are a minor), we will make a lesson plan of how we will structure our weekly (or biweekly) lessons. I have worked with all ages. The majority of my current students are between the ages of 7-17.
